Program Development Coordinator

Are you willing to help nurture a deeper understanding of Indigenous perspectives and cultural differences? We are a not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening the lives and voices of Indigenous people, and we are looking for an energetic and confident Program Development Coordinator to join our dedicated team.

Who are we? Indigenous Perspectives Society is a provincial not for profit organization that strengthens the
voice of Indigenous communities through culturally relevant education, professional development,
research, and policy. Unique to our organization is our commitment to culturally relevant services. For 20
years, our programs have been fostering a deeper understanding of Indigenous perspectives and cultural
differences and helping build successful relationships with Indigenous communities, stakeholders and
government partners.

The position is a permanent and full-time position with duties pertaining to program administration,
supporting online training deliveries in a technical capacity, and information management.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Grade 12 diploma, and some post-secondary an asset
• General office experience, or
• An equivalent combination of education and experience,
• Experience in keyboarding, word processing, excel spreadsheets, and other standard computer applications,
• Experience drafting correspondence independently and from written and verbal instructions,
• Experience coordinating meetings and travel arrangements would be an asset.
