Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Manager at our Colwood, BC location. The Manager will oversee the daily operations of the car wash facility, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing staff, maintaining equipment, implementing operational procedures, and handling customer inquiries and concerns. Additionally, the Manager will be responsible for driving business growth, optimizing the use of technology, and ensuring the facility's overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have a Management and Mechanical Background with the Following
Skill Set:
- Minimum 2 years of successful management experience in retail, sales, or customer service, with a strong ability to lead, train, and motivate teams to achieve business goals.
- Passion for team growth and development, with experience in recruiting, onboarding, training, and supporting employees to build a high-performing team.
- A can-do mindset that inspires and uplifts the team, with the ability to stay composed under pressure and focus on solutions, not problems.
- Committed to delivering outstanding customer experiences, ensuring every interaction leaves a lasting, positive impression, and handling customer concerns professionally.
- Hands-on experience in equipment troubleshooting, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Strong mechanical background, including basic knowledge of pumps, motors, lighting systems, and chemical dispensing units, with the ability to work with vendors and technicians to coordinate maintenance and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Proficient in Excel and automated business systems for tracking performance, scheduling, and optimizing operational efficiency.
- Experience in managing daily business operations, ensuring productivity, and implementing best practices to maintain high standards.
- Willingness to adapt to a 24/7 business environment, step in when needed, and provide weekend or emergency support to keep operations running smoothly.
