Located in one of Canada’s fastest-growing areas on beautiful Vancouver Island, our clinic has proudly been voted “Best of the Westshore for Eyecare” six years in a row.

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with people and wants to build a career in the eyecare field. If you value a positive workplace, strong teamwork, and a healthy work/life balance, you’ll fit right in.

Due to training involved, we are prioritizing candidates seeking a longer-term stable position (ideally 2+ years), who are interested in growing with the clinic and becoming a part of a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

  • Is comfortable using computers and learning new software
  • Takes direction well and enjoys learning new skills
  • Can work Wednesday evenings (close at 7pm) and Saturdays (close at 3pm)

  • Answering phones, managing voicemail, and returning messages
  • Booking and confirming patient appointments
  • Processing payments (debit, credit, cash)
  • Submitting extended health benefit claims online

  • Pre-testing patients before exams and sanitizing equipment
  • Coordinating referrals and patient care with eye specialists
  • Assisting patients with optometrist-recommended products
  • Performing visual field testing when required (training provided)

Training & Growth

We are an established optometry practice that has served our community for over 35 years, with a strong focus on medical eye care, innovation, and modern technology. Full training is provided, including hands-on experience with advanced diagnostic equipment and patient testing.

You’ll be supported by a collaborative team that values professionalism, kindness, and delivering an exceptional experience to every patient.

Benefits

  • Extended health benefits through a health savings account.
  • Vision care and eyewear benefits (yes, that’s included!)
