Outreach Coordinator - arts and culture

The JdF Performing Arts Centre Society is working to create a community arts and culture centre, including theatre, in the West Shore of Greater Victoria. We ar hiring a part-time Outreach Coordinator (six/seven-month contract) to activate existing spaces, strengthen cross-sector partnerships, and increase equitable access to arts programming in the West Shore. As a fully volunteer-led organization, our current capacity limits our ability to sustain outreach and programming momentum. A dedicated coordinator will allow us to move from advocacy alone to tangible, community-facing programming.  

The Coordinator will: 

1. Identify, map, and promote existing performance-ready spaces in the West Shore, highlighting the need for larger spaces that are affordable, accessible, and appropriate. 
2. Partner with local organisations to deliver a series of diverse performances and events showcasing local talent.
3. Lead community outreach and communications to deepen engagement, broaden participation, and strengthen PACS for long-term sustainability and fundraising.
