BGC South Vancouver Island is seeking passionate community leaders to join our Services Board and Foundation Board.

These are volunteer governance positions — no compensation is provided.

We’re looking for people who want to bring their expertise, perspective, connections and leadership to an organization serving children, youth and families across South Vancouver Island.

We’re especially interested in individuals with experience in:

• Fundraising & philanthropy
• Corporate partnerships
• Finance, audit & financial oversight
• Legal & governance
• Marketing & communications
• Business development & leadership
• Youth services & education
• Public sector & policy
• Non-profit leadership
• Community advocacy & lived experience

SERVICES BOARD

Help provide governance, strategic oversight and leadership for BGC South Vancouver Island and its programs and operations.

FOUNDATION BOARD

Help strengthen fundraising, philanthropy, relationships and the long-term financial sustainability that supports BGCSVI’s future.

Board service is an opportunity to contribute to strategic decision-making, champion BGCSVI in the community and help ensure children and youth have access to safe, supportive places where they can build relationships, confidence and skills for life.

Typical commitment: approximately 2.5–5 hours per month, with some months requiring additional time for meetings, committees or special events.
